AP/MPI Certified Warehouse Person

Wiri, Auckland: a long-term role is open for a current AP Holder / MPI Certified professional who wants to move forward in warehouse and container operations in New Zealand.
Your core job is container devanning. You make sure each container is unloaded safely and efficiently and that the process meets MPI requirements. Expect a mix of compliance work, operational oversight, paperwork and physical unloading.
It goes beyond a standard warehouse post. It suits someone who likes being hands-on every day while owning the standards the site must meet.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise container devanning and unloading every day
- Make sure MPI requirements and procedures are applied correctly and that compliance holds for the whole unload
- Fill in MPI documentation, inspection records and other required paperwork, keeping all records accurate
- Help unload, handle and move goods
- Track container processing so operational deadlines are met
- Raise any compliance, safety or operational concerns you spot
- Work closely with other warehouse and container handling staff
- Stick to workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Help keep the workplace efficient, organised and productive
- Take on other warehouse duties when operations need it
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current and valid AP/MPI Certification
- Experience in a warehouse, in container handling or in devanning
- Working knowledge of MPI requirements and procedures
- Physically fit for regular manual lifting and at ease in a hands-on operational setting
- Dependable, with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Clear understanding of workplace timeframes and deadlines
- Able to follow instructions and compliance procedures accurately
- Committed to keeping strict health and safety standards
- Available for early morning starts and full working days
- Sponsorship may be considered for relevant overseas candidates
