Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy is organised as a reference document. Each part starts with a one-line Key point, followed by the specifics. It covers JobsAbroad Pakistan at jobsabroad.pk and every channel the site connects you to: email applications, WhatsApp chats and our WhatsApp alerts channel.

Summary of the design: browsing needs no registration, no page posts your details to our servers, and anything personal we hold reached us because you decided to send it.

1. Operator and controller

Key point: Red Migration FZC runs JobsAbroad Pakistan and is accountable for the data covered here.

JobsAbroad Pakistan is one of several job platforms belonging to Red Migration FZC. As the business that determines the purposes and methods of processing, we act as the controller for the activities described below.

  1. Registered address: 108, 6th Street, Al Hamriya, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  2. Telephone and WhatsApp: +971 50 283 2394
  3. Email: jobs@jobsabroad.pk

2. Data we receive

Key point: three sources only, two of which you control completely.

Source 1: material you send by email

Pressing Apply by email on a vacancy launches the mail app on your own phone or computer, with a draft already addressed to jobs@jobsabroad.pk. The website itself transmits nothing. Whatever you then write or attach is your decision. In practice applicants tend to include:

  • full name, mobile number and email address;
  • a CV, employment record and trade or academic qualifications;
  • passport or visa particulars, but only where you choose to add them.

Source 2: material you send by WhatsApp

The Ask on WhatsApp button starts a one-to-one chat with our team. That gives us your WhatsApp display name and number plus the content of your messages, files and voice notes. Phone calls and emails made using our contact page details work the same way: we receive what you choose to tell us. The contact page has no form.

Following our alerts channel is different. It takes place entirely inside WhatsApp, under the terms set by WhatsApp and its parent company Meta.

Source 3: records created automatically

  • Request logs. Google Cloud writes an entry each time a page or file is fetched: IP address, user agent (browser and device type), the address requested and a timestamp.
  • Rate limiting. Our server briefly keeps your IP address in working memory to cap how many requests one address can make in a short period.

What stays on your device

Job searches and filters operate inside the page and its address bar and are not recorded against you. The public site keeps nothing personal in your browser storage, only one technical timestamp described in the Cookie Policy.

Staff only

A private admin area exists for our own team. Access is through Firebase Authentication (a Google service) and is limited to allow-listed staff accounts. The public never signs in.

3. Purposes

Key point: data is used to run recruitment for the role you chose and to keep the service secure.

  1. Assess your application against the requirements of the vacancy.
  2. Forward your application to the employer who posted that vacancy.
  3. Answer enquiries received by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
  4. Manage later recruitment stages, such as interviews or document requests.
  5. Diagnose faults, detect misuse and defend the site, using logs and rate limiting.
  6. Comply with obligations imposed on us by law.

No analytics, advertising or profiling tools run on JobsAbroad Pakistan, so your information is not used for any of those.

5. Who can see it

Key point: our team, the employer you applied to, and the service providers that carry the data.

  1. Our recruitment team reviews everything you send.
  2. The relevant employer. When you apply for a particular vacancy we may pass your application and CV to the employer offering it. Any other employer receives it only with your agreement. Most employers listed are based in Australia or New Zealand.
  3. Google Cloud runs the web server (Cloud Run), the database (Cloud Firestore), the request logs and staff sign-in (Firebase Authentication). The database holds public content such as job listings, articles and videos, not visitor records.
  4. Our email service provider stores and transmits messages to and from jobs@jobsabroad.pk.
  5. WhatsApp and Meta carry chats and operate the alerts channel under their own policies.
  6. Public authorities such as courts, police or regulators, if legally required.

6. Cross-border handling

Key point: applying from Pakistan to an overseas job means your data crosses borders.

Depending on the step involved, information may be processed in:

  • the United Arab Emirates, home of Red Migration FZC;
  • Singapore, the Google Cloud region hosting our server and database;
  • Australia or New Zealand, where the hiring employer usually sits;
  • any other country in which our email provider, Google or Meta operate infrastructure.

Protection standards are not identical everywhere. Where the governing law calls for a transfer safeguard, we depend on the contractual and technical measures our providers offer and limit what we send to what the purpose requires.

7. Storage periods

Key point: no indefinite storage; each category has its own limit.

  • Emails and WhatsApp conversations: held only while needed for your application, the recruitment linked to it and any legal duty. There is no fixed period. Ask for deletion whenever you wish, and we will act on it where the law allows.
  • Google Cloud request logs: 30 days by default, after which they expire.
  • Rate-limiting entries: held in memory for a short time only.

8. Safeguards

Key point: practical controls are in place, though no internet service can be guaranteed secure.

  1. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and HSTS instructs browsers to refuse insecure connections.
  2. The database accepts no direct public connections; reads and writes pass through our own server.
  3. Admin sign-in is restricted to an allow-list of staff accounts.
  4. Rate limiting blunts automated attacks and scraping.

Practical tip: share passport scans or identity documents only once an employer or our team actually asks for them.

9. Your rights

Key point: the rights available depend on the law that covers you, and we honour them where applicable.

All users

Red Migration FZC is established in the UAE, so the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies where relevant. Under it you may be able to request access to your data, have errors corrected, have data erased, limit or object to particular processing, and receive a portable copy.

Users in Pakistan

Where Pakistani law grants you rights over your personal information, we will respect those rights to the extent that law applies to us.

Australia, New Zealand and other countries

Privacy legislation in Australia, New Zealand and many other jurisdictions offers comparable protections, typically access and correction. Requests made under those laws are handled according to their terms.

10. Making a request

Key point: one email starts the process.

  1. Write to jobs@jobsabroad.pk stating the request: a copy, a correction, erasure, an objection or another right.
  2. We may ask for information to confirm your identity first.
  3. You will receive a reply within the deadline set by the applicable law.
  4. If part of the request cannot be met, for example because a legal duty requires us to keep a record, the reply will give the reason.

11. Minors

Key point: the service is for adults only.

JobsAbroad Pakistan is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, let us know and it will be removed.

12. Linked services

Key point: other sites set their own privacy terms.

Pages here link to WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and official government portals. We have no control over their data practices; review their policies before sharing anything with them. Our footer also lists other websites we link to: Build AI CV (buildaicv.com), Talent Tabloid (talenttabloid.com) and Skills Assessment Australia (rpldirect.com.au). Each has its own privacy and cookie policies; review them before sharing anything there. Services that load content on our own pages are listed in the Cookie Policy.

13. Policy updates

Key point: the date at the top identifies the current version.

Revisions follow changes to the site, our providers or the law. The latest text is always published on this page.
