Visa sponsorship
Trade · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Here is the role in brief. A Brisbane business that repairs household appliances is hiring a technician who will visit customers at home to find faults, fix them and carry out servicing on fridges, washers, dishwashers, dryers, ovens and cooktops.
First, the area: you cover Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the wider region, and you schedule those visits yourself. Second, who can apply: people with an aptitude for or experience in appliance work, plus apprentices finishing an electrical or refrigeration apprenticeship, especially those who have done service and fault-finding tasks.
Third, the terms: full-time or casual hours, with work starting immediately. The role is for applicants already in Australia, and the employer may consider sponsorship under an approved visa program (for example 482 or 407) for onshore applicants who are suitably qualified or experienced, subject to Australian immigration requirements.
