Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems on heavy mobile equipment, resolving complex electrical and electronic faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing programs
- Service and repair automotive air conditioning
- Check how equipment is performing and give technical advice
- Troubleshoot effectively to keep equipment downtime low
- Work to Australian workplace safety standards and keep service and repair records accurate
- Provide professional, dependable field service support
- Work with teammates to lift service quality and operational efficiency
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Auto Electrician holding recognised trade certification
- Demonstrated practical background with mining equipment, mobile plant or heavy vehicles
- Strong experience in electrical diagnostics and fault finding
- Air conditioning systems experience preferred
- Can interpret technical information and electrical diagrams
- Current driver's licence
- Able to meet the required site medical and workplace requirements
- Good English communication for reporting and workplace safety
- Works independently while contributing effectively to the team, with commitment to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
- Applicants must have verifiable employment history and trade experience
