Role: trade-qualified Automotive Technician with a well-established automotive business in Brisbane QLD.
Terms:
- Permanent, full-time or part-time
- Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles methodically and trace mechanical faults with scan tools and up-to-date workshop equipment
- Handle scheduled services and everyday maintenance
- Fix mechanical problems on a wide mix of makes and models, working efficiently without cutting corners on quality
- Keep precise records of every service, diagnosis and repair
- Explain faults and repair work to customers in plain terms
- Keep the workshop tidy, safe and well organised, following its procedures and safety standards
- Cooperate with fellow technicians and the rest of the workshop team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant trade qualification, for instance Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of automotive experience after completing your apprenticeship (post-apprenticeship)
- Hands-on experience across multiple vehicle makes and models, demonstrated in practice
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting ability, including competent use of automotive scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Genuine qualifications and work experience you can prove
- Close attention to detail and a commitment to quality repairs
- Dependable, professional attitude to workplace duties
- Works independently and adds positively to the team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence, or eligible to obtain one
- Able to satisfy applicable sponsorship and employment requirements
