Qualified Baker needed for an established food business in South Australia. Here, baking experience has to be more than a line on your CV: the employer wants real commercial bakery skills, hands-on production experience and results that stay consistent.
The setting is a structured, professional bakery where you put your practical ability to work using modern equipment beside an experienced team. Production covers a range of breads and sweet bakery lines.
Bakers from Pakistan should keep certificates and work references ready, as supporting evidence of qualifications and experience is requested.
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh out, mix and prepare ingredients precisely, then follow set recipes, baking methods and production steps
- Produce breads and sweet yeast goods that meet commercial standards
- Run industrial ovens and commercial bakery machinery safely, watching each bake so quality stays consistent
- Get through preparation, baking and packing in line with each day's production plan
- Hold production standards steady when the bakery is busy and deadlines are tight
- Lift and move ingredients and finished goods safely, including loads of up to 25kg
- Apply food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures and keep the workspace clean, tidy and efficient
- Work alongside fellow bakery staff to hit production targets and keep daily operations running smoothly through reliable, organised work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven commercial baking experience, gained hands-on in a commercial bakery or food production setting
- Certificate III in Baking preferred
- Practical use of industrial ovens and commercial bakery equipment
- Able to show knowledge of baking methods, recipes and production processes, and of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Able to keep products consistent and high in quality
- Able to start early shifts from approximately 2:00am
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift up to 25kg
- A current and valid driver's licence plus reliable transport
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance and a cooperative attitude within a professional bakery team
- Valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa
- Able to supply supporting evidence of qualifications and relevant work experience
- Willing to work in South Australia
- Sponsorship is available to candidates who meet the required skills and experience criteria
