Key Responsibilities
- Cut, style and groom clients to a high standard, including fades, tapers, classic cuts and modern styles
- Trim, shape and groom beards
- Ask each client what look they want and what they need
- Handle professional barbering tools and equipment safely and well
- Bring precision and consistency to every service
- Greet and serve clients in a friendly, professional way
- Keep workstations clean, sanitised and tidy, and clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Stay current with barbering trends, techniques and what clients prefer
- Move clients through efficiently in a busy shop
- Follow hygiene, safety and professional standards and cooperate with the rest of the barbering team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Barber
- Strong practical knowledge of men's grooming and barbering
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in a professional barbering setting
- Can deliver a wide range of traditional and modern barbering services
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good client service and communication skills
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and a reliable, responsible approach
- Works effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for full-time and part-time work; immediate availability is advantageous
- Sponsorship available for suitable eligible candidates
