Key Responsibilities
- Run Front of House and coffee service day to day
- Keep customer service and beverage preparation at a consistently high standard
- Lead the team through daily operations, working hands-on to set a positive example
- Train new and current staff in service and operational procedures, support their performance and encourage ongoing improvement
- Plan service needs for peak periods and help organise rosters and shifts
- Watch the customer experience closely and deal with any issues appropriately
- Keep presentation, cleanliness and workplace standards in order
- Work towards venue KPIs and operational goals
- Build an energetic, professional and welcoming culture in the venue
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional hospitality experience, specifically as a Barista, Head Barista, Supervisor or Front of House Manager
- Track record of taking responsibility for a team and for service operations, including training, supporting and motivating staff
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a confident, positive approach to customer-facing work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality setting and staying focused on solutions during busy shifts
- Demonstrated reliability, organisation and time management
- Close attention to service quality and how the workplace is presented
- Willing to supply supporting evidence of relevant employment experience
