Employer: a well-established construction company with a steady pipeline of full-time projects throughout NSW.
Type of work: commercial carpentry, including interior fit-outs, door installation, flooring and decking.
Who they want: skilled tradespeople with genuine hands-on experience who are confident on commercial jobs. Your trade record should be strong and verifiable; a title alone will not carry the application.

Key Responsibilities
- Fit-outs: interior jobs, for example fixing skirting boards and architraves
- Doors: hang commercial doors and install the related fittings
- Floors and decks: lay flooring and build decking in line with project needs
- Commercial projects: general carpentry and finishing on a run of ongoing builds
- Timber work: take accurate measurements, then cut, put together and install timber and similar materials
- Plans: interpret drawings, measurements and job specs and work to them
- Tools: handle carpentry tools and gear safely and to good effect
- Quality: every job finished to a consistent standard, with an eye for detail
- Site conduct: follow site safety and workplace rules, and get on well with other trades and site staff
- Travel: move between project sites around New South Wales when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience: at least 3 years in practical carpentry roles
- Commercial carpentry or relevant construction work: demonstrated experience
- Verifiable, genuine history of trade or employment
- Capacity to show your practical carpentry skills
- Tools: your own kit suited to general carpentry
- Transport: personal transport you can rely on, and readiness to travel from site to site
- Current White Card
- Desirable: understanding the Australian approach to construction practices and industry standards
- Work rights: you must hold Australian work rights or satisfy sponsorship requirements
- Sponsorship: available to overseas applicants who are suitable, hold the required skills and can verify their experience
- Also welcome: Working Holiday Visa holders, plus Pty Ltd companies or ABN holders carrying appropriate insurance
