Carpenters with real experience in house building are needed for premium residential projects in New South Wales. The work mix includes structural carpentry, renovations, new homes and high-end finishing.

Key Responsibilities
- Read construction drawings and measurements correctly, then measure, cut and fit materials with accuracy
- Frame up, handle structural timber and install components
- Take on carpentry for both renovations and new builds, finishing every job to a high professional standard
- Complete detailed fit-out and finishing work
- Own the tasks and site activities given to you, working at a good pace without losing accuracy or quality
- Liaise with builders, supervisors and the other trades on site, and sort out everyday carpentry problems as they arise
- Look after your tools and equipment so they stay in good order
- Follow health and safety procedures at work and keep your area tidy, organised and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional experience working as a Carpenter
- A relevant trade qualification, or practical experience of equivalent value
- Residential carpentry experience that is genuine and can be verified, shown in a clear employment history
- Able to supply evidence of employment or qualifications to back your application
- Current White Card and valid driver's licence
- Your own dependable transport and your own standard carpentry tools
- Sound hands-on knowledge of residential construction
- Can read plans and carry out technical instructions
- Steady focus on quality and detail
- Works on your own with little supervision
- Turns up reliably and keeps professional work habits
- Good teamwork and communication skills
