Carpet & Flooring Installer
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Here is the position in brief. A Christchurch flooring business, established and now expanding, is filling carpet and flooring installer roles at three levels: experienced installers, senior installers who lead jobs, and trainees who want to learn. More than one candidate may be selected.
First, the hours. Each role is permanent and full-time, with a minimum of 37.5 hours weekly, normally 40 to 42, mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional additional hours. Second, the work. Installations are residential and light commercial in Christchurch and the surrounding area. Third, the levels. Seniors manage a job from arrival on site to completion and organise another installer or a small crew, and trainees work under experienced installers.
AEWV applicants are welcome, including candidates who need employer sponsorship support to apply for an Accredited Employer Work Visa. Employment is subject to obtaining the appropriate New Zealand work rights.
