Employer: an established hospitality operation in Western Australia. Role: a verified, full-time Cook position based in Brunswick, in the Bunbury & South West region.
Who fits: a hands-on, reliable cook who keeps meals consistent in quality and stays effective during a fast-moving service. Sponsorship is not the only focus. Eligible candidates are offered a properly defined role with real duties at work and the chance to build a hospitality career with a supportive team in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook meals to the menu specifications and the kitchen's established standards, managing tasks efficiently to keep up with service
- Get ingredient prep and mise en place done before service and keep it going during service
- Keep food quality, consistency, portions and presentation on target
- Work with the kitchen team to keep the workflow organised, and back up senior kitchen staff with daily operations and service
- Check ingredient levels and flag any shortages or stock needs
- Apply food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures, store food correctly and handle it properly
- Leave prep and cooking areas clean, tidy and hygienic
- Respond professionally to what customers ask for regarding their meals and preparation, and pitch in with general kitchen duties
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
- Has worked before in a busy hospitality, restaurant or pub-style kitchen
- Able to prepare a range of meals efficiently and consistently
- A strong grasp of food hygiene and of handling food safely
- Follows recipes, kitchen procedures and instructions accurately
- Manages time well and can prioritise tasks during service
- Reliable, positive and team-focused, and communicates clearly with others in the kitchen
- Holding food safety certification is advantageous
- Able to work a flexible roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Overseas applicants must be able to meet the applicable employer sponsorship and visa requirements
