A quality hospitality business in Mooloolaba, on the Sunshine Coast, is growing its kitchen and hiring Chefs at every level of experience.
Who can apply: apprentices and junior Chefs starting out, qualified Chefs building their skills, and senior culinary professionals with proven leadership. Each will find room to grow in a professionally led kitchen that offers skill development, career progression and long-term advancement. Pay is competitive, and packages can be negotiated according to experience and capability.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook high-quality food across different sections of the kitchen, and take charge of an assigned section when asked
- Prep ingredients and keep stock at the right levels
- Send out dishes that meet the required standards for quality and presentation
- Work to the kitchen's systems, recipes and service procedures, with food safety and hygiene maintained at all times
- Stay efficient when service is busy and help keep kitchen operations coordinated
- Communicate well with fellow Chefs and the restaurant team
- Help train and develop junior members of the team
- Put forward ideas to lift food quality and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Prior commercial cookery experience is preferred
- Relevant qualifications are desirable, depending on the level of the position
- Open to apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and how a kitchen operates
- Committed to high standards of presentation and food quality, with an understanding of hygiene and food safety procedures
- Handles pressure and juggles multiple tasks
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate in a professional team
- For experienced and senior-level applicants, leadership skills are preferred
