Key Responsibilities
- Turn out well-prepared, well-cooked food in every part of the day's kitchen work
- Steer the kitchen from first prep to the last plate of service, organising prep tasks so service stays on time
- Hold quality, plating and portion sizes steady
- Bring ideas for menu changes, seasonal specials and creative dishes
- Put your food costing, pricing and kitchen profitability know-how to work, controlling stock use, watching waste and finding efficiencies
- Keep food safety, hygiene and workplace compliance standards in place
- Coach junior staff and share what you know

Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven background as a Chef or experienced Cook in a commercial kitchen
- A relevant culinary qualification, or a strong and proven industry track record
- Work history that can be verified, plus the ability to show practical skills
- Grasp of food costing, stock management and how a kitchen operates
- Works efficiently when hospitality service is fast-paced
- Sharp eye for detail, dedication to food quality, a dependable work ethic and professional communication
- Collaborates well with kitchen and service teams
- Willing to relocate and build a career in New Zealand
