Key Responsibilities
- Food quality: turn out excellent food in a professional kitchen and check quality at each step from raw ingredients to the plate
- Technique: apply advanced cooking methods while every dish stays consistent and well presented
- Kitchen operations: help with daily mise en place, service and coordination, and keep several priorities moving during heavy service
- Teamwork: cooperate with fellow chefs and front-of-house staff so service flows, and add to an upbeat, efficient atmosphere in a busy kitchen
- Procedures: draw on solid knowledge of food handling, cooking methods and kitchen routines, and comply with workplace health, safety and food hygiene rules

Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualification and experience: a Qualified Chef holding recognised culinary qualifications, plus relevant industry experience
- Kitchen background: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality restaurant, hotel or comparable professional kitchen, with earlier work in a structured hospitality setting
- Practical ability: can show real hands-on cooking skill and industry capability, along with a strong grasp of kitchen operations, food preparation and service standards
- References: able to supply a verified employment background and professional referees
- Soft skills: strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving
