This is not a job of routine fixes. The business wants a mechanic who brings proven technical skill, reliability and problem-solving experience, and who wants that skill recognised. You will look after advanced agricultural equipment, modern fleet systems and innovative farming technology that keep a large-scale operation going.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the reliability and performance of a varied fleet of farm machinery
- Plan preventative maintenance and carry out servicing, repairs and mechanical improvements
- Track down complex faults in tractors, harvesters, sprayers, trucks and other farm equipment
- Keep downtime to a minimum during critical farming periods, getting to breakdowns quickly and repairing machines onsite in the field
- Check machinery condition and recommend repairs, replacements or upgrades, keeping service records, maintenance schedules and repair documents accurate
- Run the workshop side: organisation, tools, parts availability and maintenance processes
- Advise and assist machinery operators on technical matters, and work with farm management to raise equipment efficiency and reliability
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic, or proven mechanical experience at an equivalent level
- Demonstrated work on agricultural machinery, heavy vehicles or similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Can manage repairs and maintenance on your own
- Practical at solving problems and attentive to detail, with a reliable work ethic and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Communicates well with operational teams
- Willing to work in an agricultural setting in regional New South Wales
- Verified trade qualifications and employment history preferred
- Sponsorship applicants need English language evidence and skills assessment documents, and the ability to meet Australian migration and sponsorship requirements
