Kindergarten teachers wanted: a well-established early childhood education provider in Queensland is adding 5 passionate Early Childhood Teachers, all full-time, as its kindergarten team expands.
Day to day you deliver government-approved kindergarten programs and shape learning that matters, while getting to know children, their families and the educators around you. The provider puts real weight on how children develop, on educators working together and on staff building careers over the long term.
Eligible overseas candidates can receive visa sponsorship, which may open a route for suitably qualified international teachers to grow their careers in Australia. Each package can be shaped around the person hired, with possible extras such as flexible working arrangements, competitive pay and potential help with childcare.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead kindergarten sessions that hold children's interest and fit their developmental stage
- Make the room secure, inclusive and stimulating, and look after every child's learning, growth and wellbeing
- Design educational experiences, record them and review the results
- Observe each child and record progress, updating electronic programs, observation notes and learning portfolios
- Earn children's trust through a positive, respectful approach
- Partner with parents and families and talk with them about how their child is developing and what they are learning
- Team up with educators and other teaching staff, and swap ideas with Early Childhood Teachers in other parts of the group
- Suggest and support improvements to the kindergarten program
- Apply the National Quality Standards and National Regulations, and keep health, safety and wellbeing practice sound
- Attend professional development and keep training up to date
- Add to a workplace that is positive, respectful and collaborative
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualification: you hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- OR you hold an approved Diploma-level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification and are studying actively for an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
- OR you are actively progressing through an approved ECT qualification with at least 50% of it finished; anyone applying on this 50% completed pathway supplies academic transcripts
- Overseas-qualified applicants are encouraged and must satisfy whatever ACECQA assessment requirements apply
- Satisfy the relevant English language requirements
- Qualify under the eligibility requirements of the applicable Australian visa pathway
- Eligibility to get, and hold on to, a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
- A National Police Check, completed successfully
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training that is current, or obtained as required
- Strong communication in both written and verbal form
- Truly passionate about early childhood education and brings energy, enthusiasm and a strong professional work ethic
- Dependable, adaptable and ready to play a part in the team
- Builds good relationships with children, families and colleagues, and understands children's learning and development
- Plans a long-term career in the early childhood sector
