Electrician wanted: full-time, permanent work with an established electrical services business in New Zealand. The job covers commercial electrical work, infrastructure projects, streetlighting and essential electrical services in a range of environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems on commercial jobs
- Contribute to infrastructure and development projects, including installing, servicing and maintaining streetlighting
- Work from electrical drawings, plans and technical specifications, finishing each installation to the project's requirements
- Track down, diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Handle your allocated tasks without close supervision and keep workmanship high on every site
- Stick to electrical regulations, site procedures and safety rules, and operate and look after tools and equipment safely
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, workmates and anyone with a stake in the project
- Adjust to changing project needs and work settings
- Add to a reliable, professional team environment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current EWRB Electrical Registration, plus a current New Zealand Practising Licence or eligibility to obtain one
- 3–5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Legally eligible to work in New Zealand, or suitable for sponsorship supported by the employer
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance, with genuine hands-on skills you can demonstrate
- A work history in the electrician trade that can be checked and verified
- Confident working alone and making sound technical decisions
- Close attention to detail and dedication to quality
- Good written and spoken communication
- Proactive, dependable and professional, with a safety-first attitude to health and safety
- Able to cooperate as part of a small team
