Key Responsibilities
- Supervisors and Field Managers: lead and support hospitality teams across several venues, visiting them regularly to give management support
- Supervisors and Field Managers: coach staff on operating procedures and new menu items
- Supervisors and Field Managers: review each store's performance, menu execution and service standards, and step in with hands-on help at individual venues
- Supervisors and Field Managers: help open and set up new locations
- Supervisors and Field Managers: keep track of stock, equipment and facility needs
- Supervisors and Field Managers: find practical ways to lift sales, efficiency and customer service
- Supervisors and Field Managers: make sure company procedures and operating standards are followed consistently, working with head office and venue teams to solve operational problems
- Supervisors and Field Managers: travel between sites, including regional and interstate venues where required
- Chefs: cook and prepare food to the set recipes and quality standards, keeping presentation, portion control and quality consistent
- Chefs: help develop menus and introduce new dishes
- Chefs: handle food prep, stock rotation and kitchen inventory
- Chefs: uphold food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety, keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient
- Chefs: help prepare kitchens for new venue openings
- Chefs: work well with management and the wider kitchen team, training and supporting other kitchen staff where required
- Chefs: stay professional through busy service periods
Requirements & Eligibility
- Supervisors and Field Managers: demonstrated experience in hospitality, F&B or restaurant operations
- Supervisors and Field Managers: previous supervisory, management or multi-site experience
- Supervisors and Field Managers: experience in a Japanese restaurant or with sushi is highly regarded
- Supervisors and Field Managers: strong team leadership and communication skills
- Supervisors and Field Managers: proven ability to handle operational challenges, with a professional, reliable and hands-on approach
- Supervisors and Field Managers: able to keep standards consistent across multiple venues
- Supervisors and Field Managers: willing to work weekends when required and able to travel between locations
- Supervisors and Field Managers: a current driver's licence is preferred
- Chefs: proven experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Chefs: experience in Japanese cuisine, sushi or F&B is highly regarded
- Chefs: relevant culinary qualifications are preferred
- Chefs: strong knowledge of food safety and food preparation
- Chefs: able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, with good teamwork and communication skills
- Chefs: a reliable, adaptable approach to work
- Chefs: willing to relocate or to work across different Australian locations; candidates open to regional and interstate opportunities are strongly encouraged
- Able to demonstrate genuine, relevant professional experience
