Formwork Carpenter

Formwork Carpenters are needed for large commercial high-rise builds in Western Australia, with this role based in Scarborough, Perth. The employer wants tradespeople whose skills come from real project work and who can show they produce accurate, safe and reliable formwork.
During assessment, your practical experience, trade ability and employment background carry real weight. Visa sponsorship is available where a candidate's skills and experience reach the required standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Study construction plans, drawings and specifications and work from them on site
- Construct, install and strip formwork for concrete structures on commercial high-rise projects
- Measure, position and assemble formwork precisely, choosing the right technique for each formwork system
- Check finished work against the required accuracy, quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and the other trades on site
- Keep productivity and quality up in line with project schedules
- Comply with site procedures and workplace health and safety rules, keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant
Requirements & Eligibility
- Valid Australian Construction White Card
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter, including substantial commercial high-rise construction work
- Hands-on knowledge of a range of formwork systems
- Able to read and follow construction drawings and specifications
- Sound grasp of safe construction practices and a record of accurate, quality workmanship
- Able to work productively as part of a professional construction team
- Dependable attendance and a responsible approach to site duties and project requirements
- Able to supply evidence backing up your stated trade skills and employment history
- Visa sponsorship may be open to candidates with suitably verified skills and substantial experience
