Role: Executive Housekeeping Manager with an established hospitality operation in Australia, based on the Gold Coast. Focus: housekeeping performance, team coordination and rooms that are guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily operations: full ownership of housekeeping work and how the team performs, building a culture of accountability, service and quality
- Workload planning: plan each day's work, assign duties by operational priority and review staffing needs as demand shifts
- Briefings and communication: run team briefings, set clear service expectations and keep housekeeping staff and hotel management talking
- Room readiness: check that every room meets the required standard before guests arrive
- Quality: partner with hotel leadership to keep improving housekeeping, watch standards and deal with performance issues quickly
- Administration: manage rosters and day-to-day admin, and support billing and other operational processes
- Compliance: keep health, safety and compliance procedures accurate
- Problem-solving: spot operational problems and put practical fixes in place
- Handovers: complete effective shift handovers so operations continue without gaps
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hotel experience: demonstrated management of hotel housekeeping operations, with genuine hands-on experience relevant to the role
- Previous title: experience as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping professional is highly regarded
- Team leadership: proven ability to supervise, coordinate and motivate housekeeping teams
- Standards: strong understanding of hotel room standards and what guests expect
- Communication: strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organisation: excellent organisation and time management, and able to juggle competing priorities in a busy hotel
- Problem-solving: a confident approach to operational problems
- Safety and compliance: understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and a strong commitment to compliance and professional standards
- Finance: understanding of annualised budgets and operational costs
- Presentation: professional appearance and a service-focused attitude
- Availability: weekends and public holidays when required
- Qualifications: No formal qualification is required, but candidates must be able to substantiate their relevant professional experience
