A professional team running ongoing landscape construction projects in the Northern Territory needs a skilled Commercial Landscaper in Darwin. The role suits an experienced tradesperson who can show real landscaping ability and owns the quality of their work.
Work covers: excavation and site preparation, irrigation and drainage, paving, retaining structures, turfing and planting, plus general hard and soft landscaping.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sites, including excavation and groundworks, then complete accurate set-out, levelling and base preparation
- Lay turf and install plants, mulch and other softscape features
- Construct paving, edging and minor concrete elements, along with retaining walls and other landscape structures
- Install irrigation and drainage systems
- Run plant, machinery and landscaping equipment safely
- Take on general commercial landscape construction tasks
- Hold a consistent standard of quality and detail, keeping professional standards on every commercial worksite
- Keep your tools, equipment and work areas tidy and organised
- Observe workplace health and safety procedures without exception
- Work efficiently so project schedules and construction targets are met
- Communicate well with supervisors and teammates, working on your own when required while contributing positively to the wider team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Landscape construction: minimum 2 years' proven experience
- Strong practical understanding of how commercial landscaping is carried out, and able to show genuine hands-on landscaping work
- A relevant formal landscaping qualification is advantageous
- Committed, punctual and reliable in employment
- Strong focus on quality workmanship and safety at work
- Essential: a current full driver's licence
- Essential: your own reliable transport
- MR driver's licence advantageous
- Essential: a current White Card
- Permanent Australian work rights preferred; temporary residents need not apply
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants
- Working with Children Card (OCHRE), or willing to obtain one
- DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
- Physically able to do outdoor landscape construction work
- Works well independently or in a team, and willing to commit to a stable, long-term position
