Landscaper/Brick Paving

Position: Brick Paver / Hard Landscaper with a commercial landscaping business in Western Australia.

The team and the path: you will work alongside a practical crew on commercial paving and hard landscape jobs at different metro locations. Those who prove themselves on site may move into a Leading Hand or Supervisory pathway. Prepare an English CV and references that describe your past paving work.
Key Responsibilities
- Paving and landscaping: deliver brick paving and hard landscaping projects, laying pavers accurately and efficiently
- Preparation: get ground and surfaces ready, and handle measuring, levels and site set-outs
- Finishing: cut and finish paving materials neatly
- Tools: use trade tools and equipment correctly
- Quality: produce consistent results on every completed job, working to site plans and project specifications
- Safety: keep work areas safe and tidy, and follow site rules and required safety procedures
- Teamwork: communicate clearly with the crew
- Travel: move between project sites across the metropolitan area
- Initiative: take ownership of assigned tasks and help develop more efficient site practices
- Progression: work towards Leading Hand or supervisory duties where suitable
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience: relevant brick paving or hard landscaping work, with demonstrable practical trade ability
- Work record: a reliable employment history and professional work ethic
- Detail: strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Attitude: positive and cooperative, able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Card: White Card
- Transport: reliable transport and willingness to travel around the metropolitan area
- Physical: able to do hands-on outdoor work
- Career goals: genuine interest in building a long-term career
- Work eligibility: Eligible for employment in Australia
