Medium Rigid MR Manual Dairy Driver

Role: dairy delivery driver on a regular route in Western Australia, based in Balcatta, Perth. Licence class: an experienced MR or HR driver.
What matters: customers depend on their driver every day, so the employer wants safe driving, dependable performance and professional service. You become the trusted contact on your route, and accuracy, safety and consistency count from the early-morning start until the last drop.
Support: you work independently on the road, with training and team backing to help you perform safely and confidently. Keep licence and driving-history documents ready alongside an English CV.
Key Responsibilities
- Route ownership: run the assigned delivery route safely and efficiently, keeping performance steady across the regular early-morning schedule
- Driving: operate a medium rigid manual vehicle in line with road safety requirements
- Deliveries: get dairy products to customers accurately and on schedule
- Customers: build professional relationships across the delivery area and represent the business well in every interaction
- Vehicle checks: carry out pre-start checks and report any vehicle faults or maintenance concerns
- Product handling: load, transport and unload dairy products safely, protecting them from damage
- Paperwork: keep delivery records and documentation accurate
- Compliance: follow workplace procedures, transport regulations and safety requirements, and sort out routine delivery problems appropriately
- Improvement: help the team lift delivery efficiency and service standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Licence: current MR or HR driver's licence
- Driving record: demonstrated experience in medium rigid vehicles and a strong history of safe, responsible driving
- Reliability: punctual and dependable at work
- Independence: able to manage a regular delivery route on your own
- Customer skills: strong communication and customer service, with a professional and positive attitude
- Problem-solving: able to identify and fix practical problems, with strong attention to detail
- Safety: committed to workplace health and safety
- Physical: able to lift and handle products weighing up to 20kg safely
- Regulations: understanding of Australian road transport regulations
- Hours: available for approximately 42 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, starting at 2:00am
