Metal Roofer / Roofing Plumber

Location: Albury, in Regional New South Wales. Trade: metal roofing and roof plumbing.
The employer is recruiting experienced Metal Roof Plumbers / Roof Installers who can prove the practical experience, project exposure and skills that professional construction sites in Australia demand. Work covers a spread of quality jobs, from premium homes and multi-residential developments through to industrial facilities and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
- Put up metal roofing systems on many kinds of projects, including long-run, corrugated and concealed-fix roofs
- Take accurate measurements and cut and place roofing materials precisely
- Make and fit flashings, and install downpipes, gutters and other rainwater goods
- Carry out the weatherproofing and waterproofing each job calls for, working from construction plans and technical drawings
- Check finished roofs for accuracy and quality
- Stay safe on live construction sites and at height, following safety rules and project procedures, and cooperate with supervisors, builders and the other trades
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in metal roofing
- Strong hands-on skills installing roofs, plus demonstrated knowledge of waterproofing and flashing installation
- Experience on commercial or large-scale construction
- Able to read drawings and plans
- Experience working at heights
- Keeps workmanship to a professional standard
- Basic English communication ability
- Relevant trade qualifications are preferred
- Experience on major infrastructure or commercial projects is highly regarded
- Construction experience in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or Kuwait is advantageous
