Night Fill Storeman wanted for a New Zealand workplace. The employer is after someone dependable who drives a forklift safely, handles stock well and has real warehouse experience behind them.
Overnight duties at a glance:
- Devanning containers and receiving incoming goods
- Restocking inventory and keeping the warehouse in order
- Helping with order fulfilment when needed

Be ready to show relevant warehouse experience, the right qualifications or licences, and a steady work history proving you can do the job safely and reliably. Key Responsibilities
- Take in containers and deliveries as they arrive and handle them safely
- Devan containers and set out the goods that come in efficiently
- Check incoming stock, then process it accurately against quantities, product condition and the receiving paperwork
- Restock inventory and keep storage zones well organised
- Help with picking, packing and getting orders ready when asked
- Drive forklifts safely and in line with workplace procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and in good order
- Meet every health, safety and operational requirement
- Plan each shift's tasks so the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently, working well with warehouse, logistics and other operational teams
- Spot stock discrepancies, damaged goods or receiving problems and report them
- Adapt as operational priorities change and take on other warehouse duties when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current and valid forklift licence, with demonstrated practical skill in warehouse work and forklift handling
- Relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution or stock handling
- An employment history relevant to this role that is genuine and verifiable
- Strong attention to detail across receiving, storing and managing inventory
- Turns up reliably and treats workplace duties responsibly
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Able to follow workplace procedures and instructions accurately
- Strong commitment to meeting workplace health and safety requirements
- Physically capable of warehouse work, including lifting and manual handling tasks
- MPI Accredited Person certification is advantageous, and familiarity with MPI requirements for container handling is also advantageous
- Able to satisfy the applicable requirements for employer-sponsored employment
