Day to day: support kitchen operations by producing quality pizzas, keeping prep efficient, handling food safely and holding service standards steady.

Key Responsibilities
- Make dough, sauces, toppings and other pizza components ahead of service
- Build and bake pizzas exactly to the set recipes and quality standards, using the same preparation, cooking and presentation methods every time
- Run commercial pizza ovens safely at the right cooking temperatures
- Organise prep efficiently before and during service, holding quality steady at high-volume times
- Apply food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Keep the pizza station clean, organised and service-ready
- Control portions accurately and cut avoidable food waste
- Work with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate service, communicating professionally as a team
- Cater for dietary requirements and special requests, and help with general kitchen duties when required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Pizza Chef or in a comparable commercial kitchen position, with proven practical ability in preparing and cooking pizza
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, sauces, toppings and pizza production
- Hands-on use of commercial pizza ovens, including wood-fired or gas-fired equipment
- Understanding of Australian-style food safety and hygiene expectations
- Keeps food quality consistent under pressure, with strong attention to detail and presentation
- Works effectively in a professional kitchen team
- Reliable, flexible and professional in approach
- Can provide genuine evidence of relevant employment and industry experience
- Relevant hospitality or food-handling qualifications are advantageous
- Must satisfy applicable requirements for visa sponsorship where relevant
