Key Responsibilities
- Plan lessons and produce the teaching materials and classroom resources to go with them
- Teach engaging, student-focused lessons that follow curriculum standards
- Keep the classroom safe, inclusive and positive
- Assess how students are progressing, give useful feedback and keep student records and assessment files accurate
- Support each student's academic, social and emotional development
- Work with fellow teachers and school leadership as one team
- Keep parents and caregivers clearly informed
- Join professional learning and school initiatives, and play a positive part in the wider school community
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Bachelor of Education or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Eligible for teacher registration in the relevant Australian state
- Teaching experience in Primary or Secondary education
- Strong skills in classroom management
- Strong communication skills
- A firm commitment to providing high-quality education
- Able to work as part of a collaborative school environment
- Eligible for Australian work rights or visa sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Queensland, Australia if required
