Qualified Hairdresser / Senior Stylist

An established salon team in Western Australia has a permanent full-time opening for a skilled, driven Hairdresser ready for the next stage of their career.
The terms are straightforward: 38 hours per week and a salary of $78,000 plus superannuation, together with ongoing training, professional support and room for career development.
Day to day, you will handle a wide mix of professional salon services with confidence and make sure each client leaves with an excellent experience. If you are applying from Pakistan, prepare an English CV that lists your cutting, colouring and styling work in detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Talk through each client's needs in a detailed consultation, then suggest suitable styles, colours and haircare options
- Cut hair for women, men and children to a professional standard
- Apply colour techniques such as foils, balayage, toning and root retouching
- Finish services with high-quality blow-drying and styling, and provide shampoo and hair treatment services
- Suggest appropriate retail haircare products to clients
- Make sure every client has a positive, professional visit
- Keep personal presentation and salon hygiene high, with workstations clean, organised and ready for the next client
- Work within salon procedures, safety practices and professional standards
- Cooperate with colleagues so the salon runs smoothly each day and stays friendly and welcoming
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years of relevant professional hairdressing experience
- Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent qualification
- Proven cutting, colouring and styling experience, including competence with modern colour techniques such as foils and balayage
- Strong skills in consultation and building client relationships
- Excellent communication and customer service
- A professional, detail-focused approach; reliable, well presented and committed to professional standards
- Able to juggle several client needs in a busy salon
- Works well as part of a team
- Must meet the relevant visa sponsorship requirements
