Key Responsibilities
- Take on rail and track construction, maintenance and project activities, putting your proven rail skills to work
- Complete track work according to safety requirements and project specifications
- Stick to established rail safety procedures and workplace rules
- Cooperate with supervisors, rail crews and other personnel on site
- Apply your rail qualifications and competencies appropriately, including Thermit Welding where you are suitably qualified
- Keep a professional standard on every project activity you are assigned
- Travel to different project sites as required
- Make sure details of your competencies, experience and skills are kept accurate
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hands-on rail and track experience you can demonstrate, with the ability to prove that your industry background is genuine and verifiable
- Current KLE Profile
- Relevant competencies for the rail industry, plus any relevant licences, tickets, certifications or qualifications
- Thermit Welding competency is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of site procedures and rail safety
- Adaptable and reliable when working on projects
- Willing and able to travel when required
- Suitable applicants from overseas may be considered for sponsorship
- Pay will be determined by experience, competencies and suitability
