This is a full-time Registered Nurse role in residential aged care in regional Western Australia, with day-to-day responsibility for residents' clinical care.

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical assessment of residents, with a prompt response to changes in health and wellbeing.
- Development, implementation and review of person-centred care plans with residents and families.
- Medication administration and clinical treatments to professional standards.
- Leadership, mentoring and guidance for care staff, and care coordination with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers.
- Accurate, timely clinical documentation and reporting, including AN-ACC assessment support.
- Compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice, with participation in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registration: current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience: 2+ years as an RN in aged care (or equivalent).
- Assessment: strong clinical assessment skills.
- Coordination: strong care coordination skills.
- Clinical guidance: able to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
- Medication: sound understanding of medication systems.
- Personal skills: excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving.
