Role: Restaurant Manager. You will need proof that you have led teams, run service operations and held high standards in a busy restaurant. Running a restaurant well is about more than getting plates to tables: you will be accountable for staff, results, organisation and the full guest experience, working hand in hand with the kitchen and the wider management group.
Evidence needed: verifiable work history and relevant qualifications that show genuine skills and real responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the restaurant's day-to-day operations and lead by example to keep the environment professional
- Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, making service and performance expectations clear
- Coach and develop staff so standards stay consistent
- Build rosters, manage staffing levels and keep an eye on labour use and efficiency
- Keep front of house and the kitchen working smoothly together
- Oversee guest service across breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Deal with customer questions, feedback and complaints about service
- Look after reservations and booking requests
- Track stock, inventory and the restaurant's records
- Help with menu development, seasonal updates and improvements to operations
- Keep the restaurant clean, well presented and up to service standard, while monitoring food safety, licensing, WH&S and compliance at work
- Partner with management to improve processes and lift team performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum two years of relevant full-time restaurant management experience and/or a relevant diploma
- Demonstrated record of taking charge of restaurant operations
- Verifiable work history relevant to this position, with supporting evidence of earlier professional experience
- Strong skills in leadership and managing staff
- Confident in written and spoken communication
- Good time-management and organisational abilities, staying organised and effective through busy service
- Experience with rosters and coordinating the workforce
- Understanding of restaurant cost control and labour costs
- Strong conflict-resolution and customer service skills
- Accountable, dependable and professional at work
- Real interest in developing teams and running hospitality operations
- Able to hold consistent standards for service, presentation and cleanliness
