The team is a professional roofing and cladding crew working on large-scale projects that use up-to-date construction systems. What you have already done counts heavily in recruitment, and site work alongside experienced colleagues gives you room to build your capabilities further.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret plans, specifications and site requirements, and calculate the materials required based on the drawings and conditions on site
- Carry out commercial roofing installation and related construction work, placing materials accurately to project requirements
- Take measurements and cut materials for roof penetrations, vents, corners, ridges and similar areas
- Position roofing underlay and waterproof sheets correctly, securing the underlay with appropriate fixings
- Align starter sheets carefully before installing, then fix roofing sheets securely so the overlaps are right
- Fit and secure ridge and edge flashings
- Install modern roofing, cladding and architectural systems
- Hold a consistent standard of finish and workmanship, checking completed work and correcting any installation faults where required
- Recognise hazards and obey site and workplace safety procedures, handling roofing tools, gear and materials safely
- Cooperate productively with supervisors and fellow construction professionals
- Go out to project locations as required
- Maintain a tidy, professional and safety-conscious workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- A proven roofing track record is preferred
- Sponsorship may be considered for experienced overseas Roofers
- Highly regarded: commercial roofing or cladding experience. Construction workers with transferable trade skills may be considered too
- Accurate in measuring, cutting and installing roofing materials
- Can read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Practical grasp of how to work safely on a construction site
- Detail-minded and focused on quality
- A good practical problem-solver

- Dependable and committed in employment
- Has the physical capability for roofing and construction duties
- Willing to pick up new roofing and cladding techniques and to move between project sites when required
