Perth scaffolding work with a team that is expanding. Two kinds of candidate are wanted: experienced Scaffolders, and people starting out as Scaffold Labourers.
In both cases, what counts is proven practical ability, a real respect for site safety, your tickets and how dependable you are. Suitable candidates can get 40–60 hours of work each week, continuing opportunities and attractive overtime conditions.
Workers in Pakistan should check which tickets they hold and prepare an English CV that lists them clearly.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, adjust and dismantle scaffold structures strictly to approved procedures
- Get scaffolding jobs done safely and efficiently on construction sites, meeting quality and safety standards on every allocated task
- Inspect scaffold components and gear before use and while in use
- Work safely at height, wearing suitable fall protection and personal protective equipment
- Understand what each site requires and act on supervisors' instructions
- Cooperate closely with scaffold crews and other construction workers, and flag any hazard or unsafe scaffold condition
- Keep gear and work areas in order
Requirements & Eligibility
- Scaffolders – current White Card
- Scaffolders – current Working at Heights ticket and current Scaffolding ticket/licence
- Scaffolders – relevant practical scaffolding experience and the ability to demonstrate hands-on trade skills
- Scaffolders – firm commitment to safety at work, and physically able to carry out scaffolding duties
- Scaffolders – dependable attendance, a professional attitude and able to work well in a team
- Scaffold Labourers – current White Card
- Scaffold Labourers – Working at Heights ticket preferred; candidates without one may perform ground-level duties only
- Scaffold Labourers – construction or labouring experience is advantageous
- Scaffold Labourers – good physical fitness and able to do manual work
- Scaffold Labourers – reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Scaffold Labourers – keen to learn and build scaffolding skills
- Scaffold Labourers – able to follow instructions and safety procedures, with a positive, team-oriented attitude
