Key Responsibilities
- Talk with clients about their preferences and suggest the right services and professional products
- Provide high-quality cuts, colour and styling, creating personalised looks to excellent technical standards
- Give every client a professional experience they remember, building strong relationships with new and regular clients
- Handle professional tools, equipment and haircare products confidently
- Keep learning about emerging trends, techniques and industry practice by attending training, workshops and ongoing development
- Keep salon presentation and hygiene at a consistently high level
- Collaborate with fellow stylists and the wider salon team
- Pass on knowledge and guidance to junior team members
- Add to a salon culture that is upbeat, productive and centred on clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised hairdressing qualification
- Proven experience as a Senior Stylist or in an equivalent senior-level role, with a demonstrated history of professional salon employment
- Strong practical cutting, colouring and styling skills
- Able to provide evidence of relevant qualifications and industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a professional approach to client service
- Able to work independently and contribute effectively to a team
- Passionate about hairdressing and committed to high-quality results
- Willing to mentor and support developing stylists, and committed to ongoing learning and skill development
