Position: Senior Shotcreter, permanent and full-time, based in Sydney NSW.
Field: specialist ground support and shotcrete work. You will be part of crews alongside seasoned anchoring and drilling teams on ground stabilisation jobs, where precision, consistency and safety cannot be compromised.
What matters in your application: genuine, provable time running shotcrete rigs, producing quality applications and staying safe in complex ground engineering settings. Your hands-on background, technical ability and past projects will decide whether you are a fit.

Key Responsibilities
- Run shotcrete rigs and related plant for specialist ground support work
- Get surfaces ready, then spray shotcrete to the project's specifications using suitable concrete mixing and spraying methods
- Be accountable for daily shotcrete tasks on the projects you are assigned to
- Hold a steady standard of workmanship and application quality
- Partner with drilling and anchoring crews throughout ground engineering works
- Help teammates build their practical skills and encourage a strong safety mindset across the shotcrete crew
- Check the condition of equipment and handle routine servicing
- Notice shifts in site or environmental conditions and react to them sensibly
- Stick to each project's own safety, quality and operating procedures
- Cooperate with supervisors, operators and other people on site to deliver the project efficiently and achieve good results
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional background as a Shotcreter
- Demonstrated hands-on operation of shotcrete machinery and associated equipment
- Strong working knowledge of concrete mixing and shotcrete application
- Background in ground engineering, ground support or similar construction settings
- Can show and verify earlier relevant employment and technical experience
- Works effectively with drilling and anchoring teams and as part of a wider team
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety at work
- Nationally accredited OHS Card / White Card or equivalent
- Full driving licence and own reliable transport
- MR licence for line pump operations where applicable
- Can cope with tough site and environmental conditions
- Can pass a pre-employment medical specific to the project, plus drug and alcohol screening
- Relevant Australian work rights or eligibility for employer-sponsored employment
- Visa sponsorship available for suitably qualified candidates with verifiable experience
