Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and payments (Accounts Officer): record transactions accurately, raise and process invoices and payments, and look after both payables and receivables
- Reconciliation and enquiries (Accounts Officer): match bank statements against transactions, track business expenses and petty cash, process refunds and expense claims for employees, follow up unpaid accounts, respond to financial queries from clients, suppliers and colleagues, and assist finance management and the external accountants
- Office leadership (Finance / Office Manager): oversee finance and office administration, and support day-to-day office operations, recruitment and the development of staff
- Reporting and strategy (Finance / Office Manager): put together financial reports, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow forecasting; analyse business trends and financial performance; monitor where the organisation stands financially; oversee account reconciliations and reporting; maintain financial policies and procedures; monitor tax and reporting compliance; give management the financial information it needs; and develop strategies based on that analysis
- Collections and vehicles (Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician): operate waste trucks, complete rubbish runs and sani-bin services, collect and deliver freight and bins, and do routine vehicle checks, flagging faults as they come up
- Yard and outdoor work (Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician): keep the yard clean and maintained, undertake night fogging, look after lawn mowing and tree trimming, pitch in with digging, labouring and other operational jobs, and stay professional with customers
- Contract control (Contracts Administrator): maintain documentation and process paperwork for contracts and projects, monitor contractors and any work variations, coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades, track timelines and contractual obligations, handle contract enquiries and support the delivery of contracted work
- Fabrication (Welder): read plans and technical drawings, use MIG, TIG and other processes for field welding and installation, and weld ductwork, metal sheeting, fixtures, vents and related components
- Finishing and quality (Welder): pick suitable materials and filler, work in step with field and installation teams, grind and deburr each weld, maintain the required quality and safety standards, and use materials efficiently with little waste
- Inspection and advice (Senior Pest Control Technician): examine properties for signs of pests and possible entry points, identify and assess infestations, give customers professional pest management advice, and recommend suitable treatments, prevention and ongoing services
- Treatment work (Senior Pest Control Technician): apply treatments against termites, ants and other insects, set rodent traps and bait systems, take down wasp, hornet and bee nests safely, close off openings where pests can get in, and use chemicals and treatment equipment safely
- Servicing (Truck Mechanic): perform servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks, including inspection of brakes, steering, wheel bearings and connected systems
- Diagnosis and repair (Truck Mechanic): diagnose mechanical issues with computerised equipment, repair and replace components such as bearings, gears and valves, service cooling and heating, road test vehicles once repaired, check emissions and how the vehicle performs, verify component measurements and clearances, and follow safe, accurate workshop practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Every applicant: relevant qualifications, licences or demonstrated industry experience, plus proven experience in the occupation chosen

- Finance / Office Positions: qualifications in accounting, finance, business or administration that suit the role, and experience in bookkeeping, financial administration or management
- Finance / Office Positions: strong numerical and analytical ability, high accuracy and close attention to detail
- Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician: current Manual Driver Licence, current HR vehicle licence and a clean driving record
- Truck Driver / Multi-Skilled Technician: capable of varied operational duties; waste truck experience is advantageous, and experience on rear-loader, hook-lift, front-lift or side-arm vehicles is likewise advantageous
- Contracts Administrator: relevant background in contracts, projects or administration, plus strong organisational and document control skills
- Contracts Administrator: able to coordinate trades, suppliers and contractors and to juggle deadlines and multiple priorities
- Welder: relevant welding qualification or equivalent practical experience, and demonstrated MIG, TIG or other welding experience
- Welder: able to interpret plans and technical drawings, with sound knowledge of welding quality and safety standards
- Senior Pest Control Technician: relevant pest control qualification, certification or licence, together with professional pest control experience
- Senior Pest Control Technician: knowledge of pest identification, prevention and treatment, the ability to handle pest control chemicals and equipment safely, and strong customer service
- Truck Mechanic: relevant diesel, heavy vehicle or mechanical qualification, and earlier experience as a truck or heavy vehicle mechanic
- Truck Mechanic: experience using computerised diagnostic systems, strong mechanical fault-finding and repair ability, and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
