Key Responsibilities
- Inspect each surface and decide the preparation it requires
- Ready vehicle surfaces and panels for refinishing, handling sanding, masking and priming
- Mix automotive paint and clear coats and spray them, using Glasurit paint products and systems
- Complete paint repairs of all sizes, from small jobs to large ones
- Achieve accurate colour matches and an even, consistent finish
- Run automotive spray painting equipment safely
- Check completed work for imperfections or defects and correct any finishing issues
- Keep equipment and the workshop clean and well maintained
- Cooperate closely with the wider repair team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Automotive Spray Painter with relevant hands-on experience in the vehicle repair industry
- Competent in large-scale and small repairs
- Strong understanding of automotive refinishing techniques
- Experience using professional paint systems
- Close attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
- Professional, positive attitude and able to work effectively within a team environment
- Adaptable to workshop requirements
- Strong personal responsibility and reliability
