Technician

Workplace: a professional multi-brand dealership in New South Wales with a modern workshop handling passenger and used vehicles.

What they look for: technicians whose credentials are backed by practical, provable experience. Holding the trade paper is only half the story.

Your work: diagnostics, servicing, repairs and inspections, with an experienced crew around you.

Conditions: steady Monday-to-Friday hours, continuing technical training, scope to sharpen your skills and the potential for long-term career progression. Technicians in Pakistan should have trade certificates and employer references ready, as evidence of qualifications and experience is requested.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fault finding: track down mechanical and electronic faults with professional diagnostic gear
  • Servicing: routine, logbook and scheduled maintenance
  • Repairs: mechanical work across many passenger vehicle makes, plus warranty jobs done to manufacturer specifications
  • Pre-delivery: inspections and the related safety checks
  • Technical data: work from repair manuals, wiring diagrams and other technical information
  • Records: log completed repairs in workshop software and flag extra work needed to the service team in clear terms
  • Procedures: stick to dealership workshop processes, safety standards and manufacturer guidelines, keeping your bay clean, organised and efficient
  • Learning: attend technical training and keep up with new vehicle systems and repair methods
  • Team: cooperate with fellow technicians and help apprentices where required

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Valid Motor Mechanic Trade Licence
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hands-on automotive work
  • Demonstrated practical background in servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repair
  • Confident on a range of vehicle brands and models
  • Understands automotive technical manuals, wiring diagrams and OEM procedures
  • Manufacturer warranty repair process experience is advantageous
  • Competent with diagnostic scan tools and workshop management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate workmanship; reliable, punctual and effective in a team
  • Valid Australian driver's licence, preferably with the ability to drive a manual
  • Able to provide evidence supporting relevant qualifications and employment experience
  • Sponsorship available for eligible candidates meeting the role requirements
