Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tyre fitting and wheel alignment
- Repair and service brake and clutch systems, and machine discs, drums and flywheels to standard
- Take in, inspect and send out aftermarket automotive stock, putting tyres, brakes, clutches and parts away in their designated areas
- Back up the sales team with day-to-day operational tasks and help with deliveries as needed
- Keep the workshop and storeroom tidy and accurately organised
- Apply workplace safety procedures and deliver high-quality work
- Operate independently and communicate well with the rest of the team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Must have Australian work rights or be eligible for employer sponsorship
- At least 1 year of relevant mechanical or automotive experience
- Proven hands-on background in the automotive aftermarket
- Working knowledge of tyres, clutches, brakes and associated components
- Highly regarded: experience doing wheel alignments
- Works independently and carries out instructions accurately
- Detail-focused and committed to quality, with a positive, reliable, professional attitude
- Communicates well and works well in a team
- Holds a current driver's licence; an Australian mechanical licence is an advantage but not mandatory
- Employment history that is genuine and can be verified
- Ready to commit to a long-term role in Australia
