Who is hiring: a well-established events and hospitality business in New South Wales, currently expanding its front-of-house crew.
The role: enthusiastic Casual Wait Staff for a varied calendar of high-quality events, including elegant weddings, gala dinners, corporate functions and private celebrations. Your part is seamless service and an occasion each guest remembers.
Who it suits: people who enjoy change from one night to the next, dealing with guests and the atmosphere of a live event. Expect to work in a range of venues and event styles next to experienced professionals in hospitality and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up tables, dining spaces, function rooms and service stations before guests arrive
- Greet guests and help them in a friendly, professional way
- Take orders for meals and drinks accurately, then bring them out quickly to the required service standard
- Keep service polished and attentive for the whole event, watching for guest needs and acting on requests quickly
- Clear and reset tables while functions are running and once they finish
- Keep the Front of House area clean, tidy and presentable, and look professional and positive every shift
- Liaise closely with kitchen, event and service teams so weddings, corporate functions, private events and large celebrations run smoothly
- Follow venue procedures on food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and responsible alcohol service
- Change your approach to suit each venue, event format, guest requirement and service demand
Requirements & Eligibility
- Background in waiting, functions, hospitality or customer service is preferred
- A genuine interest in giving guests a high-quality experience, backed by strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- At ease in busy, fast-changing settings
- Works well alongside kitchen and Front of House teams
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays and event-based shifts
- Current Australian RSA certificate, or willing to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights where applicable; relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship
- Willing to cover multiple venues throughout New South Wales
