Wall & Floor Tiler

Position: Tiler with a professional team in Adelaide, South Australia (full-time).
How the work is set up:
- work is supplied to you directly and projects are planned in advance
- you are paid weekly
- no chasing customers, writing quotes or following up unpaid invoices, so you can focus on quality tiling
Applicants will be judged on practical experience, trade skill, reliability and the ability to meet professional standards. Verified, experienced tradespeople have the chance to build a lasting working relationship with the team. Tilers from Pakistan or anywhere else should gather proof of past tiling work, such as reference letters, before applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tiling projects to a high, consistent standard, representing the team through reliable service and quality work
- Waterproof and prepare wet areas, and screed so surfaces are ready for tiling
- Measure, set out and lay tiles accurately
- Grout and finish tiled areas, including epoxy grout where needed (training is available)
- Caulk and seal for a clean, professional result
- Take down and refit basic shower screens when required
- Check finished work and correct any finishing defects
- Stay accurate, neat and detail-focused throughout every job
- Keep work areas safe, clean and tidy, following workplace health and safety requirements
- Speak with customers professionally while projects are under way
- Stick to project schedules and finish allocated work within agreed timeframes
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years' experience in tiling and waterproofing
- Demonstrated practical tiling ability on a variety of projects, plus hands-on waterproofing and screeding
- Experience removing and refitting basic shower screens
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Professional communication with a customer focus
- English-speaking
- Current Australian driver's licence and your own suitable commercial vehicle
- Current White Card
- Valid ABN with appropriate business and public liability insurances
- Australian work rights or eligibility for sponsorship
- If applying for sponsorship, you must be locally based in South Australia
- A reliable, professional work ethic
- Able to work independently while keeping workmanship standards high
