Key Responsibilities
- Boner: break carcasses and quarters down without help, remove bones precisely and produce commercial cuts of beef/veal, lamb/sheep and pork, maintaining yield and quality
- Slicer and trimmer: prepare meat products to the specifications of customers and production
- Slicer and trimmer: trim away excess fat, gristle and unwanted material, minimise waste and keep quality consistent
- Slaughterman: carry out species-specific slaughter floor operations, namely stunning and shackling where authorised, sticking and bleeding, hide removal or skinning, carcass dressing and evisceration
- All roles: maintain safe food handling practices

- Commercial meat worker experience
- Practical skills specific to the role applied for
- Boners: strong knife skills, precise bone removal and trimming ability
- The ability to identify your species experience, cuts and duties
- A verifiable work record and references, where available
- Proof of Q Fever vaccination or immunity, where required for the role
