A Telecommunications Field Engineer is required in Brisbane by an Australian-owned telecommunications infrastructure contractor. The company works for carriers and prime contractors across Australia and covers four areas of work: rigging, civil construction, RF and transmission integration, and structure upgrades and decommissioning.
The role has a clear order of tasks. First, you integrate and commission RF and Tx equipment. Next, you prepare the site for carrier acceptance. Throughout, you apply rigging tickets and structural knowledge on greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations. The work is national, with travel to remote and metro sites.
Employment is full-time and direct, not labour hire, under ANZSCO 313212. The employer holds approved Standard Business Sponsor status under Subclass 482 Skills in Demand. Suitably qualified overseas candidates on eligible visas may be considered. Australian citizens, permanent residents and other Australians receive priority consideration.
