A Barber / Hairdresser vacancy is open at a busy barbershop in central Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia. Here is the role in order. First, the setting: an established team of barbers, receptionists and managers. Second, the work: traditional and contemporary cuts for men, women and children, wet shaves, beard styling and advice on hair care products. Third, the support: generous appointment times and ongoing training from industry leaders.
Hours are flexible, with full-time, part-time and casual positions available.
Onshore candidates are preferred, but this is a preference, not a requirement, and visa sponsorship is on offer for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle haircuts and styling in classic and current looks for male, female and child clients
- Complete wet shaves and beard styling
- Advise customers on hair care products
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every appointment
- Coordinate with the barbers, receptionists and managers on the team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualification as a barber or hairdresser, plus salon experience (apprentices also considered)
- Strong haircutting ability with classic and modern hairstyles
- Excellent eye for detail; good personal grooming and presentation
- Good communicator with sound customer service ability
- Positive, friendly and professional in manner, and keen to keep learning
- Shaving skills: an advantage, not necessary
- Ability to deliver both classic and modern haircuts to a consistent standard
