This vacancy suits a Registered Nurse with cath lab or critical care experience who wants to work in Perth, Western Australia. The unit is the cardiac catheterisation laboratory of a private hospital that has only just opened.
First, the employer. The hospital is part of a group ranked among the biggest private healthcare operators in Australia. The building was designed for this purpose, and no hospital in its area has offered interventional cardiology before.
Second, the work. You become one of the first clinicians on the unit, helping to decide how care is organised to a best-practice standard, and you look after patients safely, effectively and with their needs at the centre.
Third, the terms. You choose permanent part-time, with a ceiling of 70 hours per fortnight, or casual. Each shift is 12 hours. The employer offers sponsorship visas to nurses who are eligible.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse, with AHPRA registration that is current
- Clinical background; cardiac cath lab work preferably
- Communication, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills that are well developed
- Firm knowledge of the legislation, professional standards and codes of practice that apply, and a commitment to keep developing professionally
