This Chef de Partie position is in Melbourne, VIC, and is full-time. The employer is a restored seaside hospitality precinct with several restaurants, bars, a beer garden and function and event spaces.
The work is organised around three things. First, you manage your section to a high standard and act on the senior chefs' direction. Second, you produce food that gives guests an exceptional experience in a fast-paced venue. Third, you help set budgets and develop menus in the area you specialise in, on a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
The precinct offers ongoing training and development, with career progression across its venues. Sponsorship opportunities are available for approved applicants.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification with at least 12 months of relevant experience
- If not trade qualified, at least 3 years of relevant experience instead
- Experience in budgets and menu development within your area of expertise
- Able to follow direction
- Able to maintain high standards
- Enthusiasm for fast-paced hospitality work and a genuine passion for food
- Willing to learn, develop and grow professionally
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, a guest-first mindset, pride in your craft and flexibility for a rotating roster with weekends and public holidays
