This is a full-time kitchen role with clear expectations. A Vietnamese restaurant group expanding across regional New South Wales is hiring 3 experienced cooks and chefs, with an immediate start available.
Service is quick and the volume is high. The group wants people with energy and discipline who keep output steady when every table is full.
First, location matters. Applicants must be already in Australia and willing to work at the restaurant they are allocated. Second, training may take place in Port Macquarie before you start at your own restaurant.
On visas, Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) holders are welcome. Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term candidates. It is subject to business needs, your eligibility, how you perform at work and immigration requirements, and it is not automatic.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook Vietnamese and Asian-style menu items to the set standard
- Check quality, plating and portion size before each dish leaves the pass
- Carry out daily prep
- Rotate stock in the correct order
- Clean the kitchen and apply food safety and hygiene procedures
- Keep output high in busy lunch and dinner services
- Coordinate with the kitchen and front of house teams for smooth operations
- Attend initial training if required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial Cookery qualifications, or alternatively relevant professional kitchen experience
- Previous work in an Asian cuisine kitchen (Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or another Asian restaurant): highly preferred
- Experience with noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals: an advantage
- Independent worker who handles busy service periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Committed to high standards
- Flexible availability, weekends included
- Must be currently located in Australia
