This vacancy is for a Registered Nurse in a residential aged care home in Sydney. The employer is an established, family-focused provider and the position is full-time.
The work starts with resident assessment and care planning. It continues with medication administration and health monitoring, then leading and supporting the nursing team, and finally compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation and organisational policy.
Applications are accepted from onshore nurses only, meaning those living in Australia with current AHPRA registration. Sponsorship on a 482 or 494 visa is available to eligible candidates who meet the Department of Home Affairs requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents and plan, implement and evaluate their nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor health and wellbeing
- Prepare and apply individual care plans with the multidisciplinary team
- Lead, guide and support the nursing team
- Follow all legislation, regulations and organisational policies and communicate clearly with residents, families and staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Currently living in Australia (essential)
- Significant experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting, minimum of 1 year
- Strong clinical skills for the diverse health needs of older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, person-centred approach to care
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Ability to work within a supportive, person-centred team
