A Melbourne vehicle-equipment manufacturer, Australian-owned and expanding nationally, is recruiting an experienced Auto Accessories Fitter. Its range covers premium canopies, trays and toolboxes along with 4WD accessories. The position is full-time with an immediate start.
The core task is straightforward. First, the fitter installs products the company makes itself onto customer vehicles. Second, this happens in fitting bays purpose-built for the work. Third, many vehicles are brand new, including recent standard models, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles.
Candidates with current experience in the automotive aftermarket or the 4WD accessories sector suit the employer best. Suitable visa holders seeking sponsorship are considered. The final date for applications is 30 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Take off and refit vehicle parts as needed
- Ready accessories for fitting and install them, in many cases on brand new vehicles
- Mount trays and drawer modules produced in-house
- Fit in-house windows and keyless entry systems
- Build up canopies and trays and install them with other accessories
- Finish each installation to a high quality, with detail and safety checked at every step
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven background fitting accessories to vehicles and handling automotive installations
- Sound knowledge of 4x4 accessories
- Strong focus on detail, matched by a commitment to safety
- Driver's licence and forklift licence held (the forklift licence can be arranged); auto-electrical or OBD experience preferred, not essential
